BACKGROUND

Sound Again began when director Carlos Correa met Luke Criner at a local film festival in Poulsbo, WA. The morning after the screening, Luke opened up about his own story during a small filmmaker gathering. Something in that moment struck Carlos. As one of the few local documentarians in the area, he felt compelled to follow up. What started as a simple conversation turned into a collaboration. Carlos brought together a small team of filmmakers, and they set out to document Luke’s journey within just 24 hours for the Art Of Documentary (AOD) One Day Doc competition.
